Some of the members of the new cast on the hit TV show “Dancing with the Stars” were recently announced. What a cast they have this season. And of course, none other than the biggest star Cincinnati has to offer is dancing. Thats, right Chad OchoCinco, who really is the “star,” will be putting on his dancing shoes for television.
This is great news for the Bengals. Chad OchoCinco will continue his race with marketing himself into one of the most popular athletes in the world on national television each week. Also, Chad will get to improve his footwork while doing something fun. And obviously, he will get to come up with some brand new touchdown moves to showcase at Paul Brown next season for the Bengals. It is truly a win win situation for the Who Deys, coming off their 2nd AFC North title in the past five years.
So when I heard Chad was going to be on the show, I said I might even tune in to watch occasionally just to see Chad’s shiny grill on tv some more. Then I heard about some of the other contestants. There is of course gold medal figure skater Evan Lysacek, which will be entertaining. You have to think that figure skaters possess the footwork to be great dancers. But the prime time star in my eyes, and in probably most of America’s eyes will be none other than ESPN’s Erin Andrews. The beautiful blonde will now be showcasing her abilities on the dance floor. Andrews already is one of the best looking faces on television, not to mention she knows her sports. This is a double threat with guys to begin with. Well now she is able to bring in the triple threat if she proves she can dance.
Who knows, maybe Chad OchoCinco will get Erin’s number by the end of the season and Erin will be on the sidelines for some Bengals games. Weirder things have happened.
Stay tuned for the next edition of Sportskraze.
